What’s been happening?
We have skipped a week in the diary as our website manager David got married last week and we were all attending a beautiful wedding! Best of luck to him and his wife, and thanks to Jacinta and Jose who held down the fort last weekend and kept the bookshop open!
We have continued this week to travel by book through Spain and Portugal, zooming down the Camino de Santiago, stopping off at the birthplace of St Ignatius, dropping by Avila, and winding up in wonder at the Basilica de Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Not to mention exploring how the apparitions at Fatima have changed the world in the last 100 years.
Next week we continue on to Italy and France, follow us on Facebook and Twitter (@CTSBookshopLdn) to make sure you don’t miss anything in our #FestivalofTravel.
Living Liturgy 2018 resource book for priests and parish leaders has come in and it is full to the brim with readings, reflections, questions, hymn suggestions and points for reflection for every celebration of the coming year. If you are a priest looking for some inspiration, or if you are looking for something useful to give someone recently ordained, this what we recommend.
Tokien’s Beren and Luthien is now in, and it is a fantastic edition, illustrated by Alan Lee.
We also just discovered that Jeff Kinney, author of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series is a Catholic – who knew!?
